Cello Teacher, Violin Teacher, Piano Teacher – Monica Sales
Monica Sáles began her love of playing piano at age 5 and immediately began composing. She later picked up the cello at age 10, began cello lessons with Barbara Thiele in 1994, and piano lessons with Mrs. Silvia White in 1996. She was accepted to the University of Colorado at Boulder where she studied under Dr. Holly Roadfelt-O’Riordan (1997-1998), Prof. Alvin Chow (1998-1999), and Prof. Andrew Cooperstock (1999-2001). On the cello her instructors include Mari H. Dorman, DMA, and David Short.
Continuing her education, Monica went on to study with Prof. Emeritus John Ehrlich of Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, in 2005. In addition she has also studied violin with Vladimir Petrov (1999-2001), and Composition with many including Prof. Emeritus Luis Jorge Gonzeles of the University of Colorado at Boulder during her collage career and beyond.
Ms. Sáles resides in Broomfield Colorado and continues to play, compose and share her love of music with her students.
