Guitar Lessons in Evergreen with Cody Swanson

Cody Swanson learned to play music when he was ten years old, and mastered guitar as his main instrument after many years of study with Kevin Alumbaugh, Dave Devine, Paul Musso and Drew Morell.  Cody is an accomplished musician and also plays drums, piano, and bass guitar.

In addition to playing and performing with many informal bands over the years, Cody was the lead guitar player with the school jazz band at West Jeff Middle School, Conifer High School and various jazz combos at the University of Colorado at Denver. As an alumni of the Evergreen School of Music, Cody went on to receive a bachelor of science from UCD in jazz guitar performance and audio engineering.

Cody Swanson has taught at the Evergreen School of Music for the last several years and enjoys working with students teaching guitar with the method devised by Kevin Alumbaugh.  He also plays guitar professionally in the band “Fresh Jefferson”, as well as performing with different musical groups at prestigious venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheater, The Soiled Dove, The Little Bear and The Walnut Room.
