Guitar Lessons in Evergreen with Sebastian Albu

Sebastian Albu is a professional musician with ten years of private music instruction experience with individual and group lessons. Sebastian has a solid knowledge in music theory and history as well as being well versed in current music trends.

Sebastian plays guitar professionally and is also proficient in piano. He works with students to learn how to read from scores and tablatures and has a strong background in jazz and classical theory.

When you work with Sebastian you will find that you have a teacher that loves to help his students to become proficient in playing the music they enjoy and can coach at all levels and styles.

Sebastian has a B.A. in music from the University of Pittsburg and a B.S. in biology. His performance career has included:

• Leader and composer for the Denver instrumental jazz quartet, Golan. A group that performs regularly throughout Colorado, they won the second annual Jazz Clash Competition at Dazzle in 2009.
• Guitarist in Metro Jazz Combo led by Ron Miles and Dave Devine.
• Guitarist in University of Pittsburgh Big Band Jazz Ensemble
• Extensive local playing and national touring as both a leader and sideman.
